I was wondering and trying to total it up. It was just as easy to get the kids digital scale to the garage. and make a few passes. I wonder if they'll notice the tire tracks on the scale. Mine weighs between 58 and 59 pounds. Plenty light enough for the kid to haul up the apartment stairs on his shoulder.
Anyone else weigh their bike?

Yah, Professor, I can relate. About 60 pounds up front with the Honda 160 cc; 50 pounds in back. 55 with basket. 65 with a gallon of gas and tools in basket.

The Meteor is going at 72 lbs. with a full tank of gas. (is the 8 lbs for your head? Prof?)<just kidding, of course)

It's a Schwinn 28" and I weigh 255. So, bike is 65lbs + 255lbs = 320lbs

Just a bit heavy for a low quality 2/stroke motor huh? BUT, I've ported,Milled, longer intake, exspansion.

+ I live in major hills of SW Va.

Ave 24.6mph

Top 33.8mph :cyclist: PS- Keep that tire pressure UP!!! 44T, don't have shift kit.

My Diamondback bike started life @ 38lbs. After engine drive, tank, fork and wheels were added, it weighs around 62lbs. Bias is 27lbs front/35lbs. rear. I weigh 198lbs., so that's 260lbs. + 25lbs. of safety gear/backpack.

Cruising speed - 35mph, w/top speed around 45mph.

Fear limits speed.

i've never put my bike on a scale but it's gotta be around 50 pounds considering its an old bmx frame with a HT thats stuck in the frame and fits like a glove.
I heat my house with wood pellets and those weigh 40 pounds a bag and my bike is slightly heavier than that so thts where i get my guess. i'd be interested to know the exact weight but i dont have a good scale.
