I'm trying to adjust cns carb and I put a new plug in and it is hitting the piston, real weird same plug number b6hs ngk I have been running since last may why hitting now.I'm asking which other plugs will work and not hit?

does the plug have a new sealing washer on the threads?
did you compair the thread reach (or length) on the new plug with the old plug?
Sometimes, things get labeled wrong or put into the wrong box. Maybe you got a longer plug that was supposed to be a b6hs?

I bought three of them out of the same eight pak.As of right now I added washer from the old plug to the other new plug I don't know if thats okay it seems to be?

so you have 2 washers on it? It will be ok.
but that's weird because if you had a b6hs in it, and you replaced it with a b6hs, the new one shouldn't hit the piston.
Unless you have a bunch of carbon built up on top of the piston and the old plug's tang was burned enough to clear it.

I don't know if the new one would hit it I just didn't want to chance it so I added the washer for safety,I feel better now after you say 2 washer were ok .Thanks motor

you bought a set of plugs for a 8 cly motor you have a 2 stroke no wounder.

for a single cyl motor you need a plug that is desinged for it.

let me just say that you are 100% incorrect on that.
there is no such thing as a 2 stroke spark plug and a 4 stroke spark plug.
NGK plugs are used in everything from lawn mowers, to cars, to dirt bikes, to boats, to motorized bike engines...all of which either have 2 stroke or 4 stroke engines.
what makes you think that there are spark plugs designed for a single cylinder 2 stroke engine?
the spark plug doesn't know what engine it's in, or how many cylinders the engine has.

wait what?
what does an 8 cylinder engine have to do with anything here?
a spark plug is a spark plug, doesn't matter that they came in a pack of 8.
you know, spark plugs are a single peice, not 8 together as one.
