Fuel Mixture seafoam

I use it in ALL my 2 cycles. Great stuff, more so in outboards. I mix my fuel in 5 gal cans, and put the Seafoam in 1 out of 3 cans. Also use fuel stabilizer in any fuel that sits over a couple of months.

um. nope. salt water damages engines :giggle:

yeah yeah,i know, its an additive...why bother? oil, petrol. all a 2 stroke needs.

this is meant to be a CHEAP hobby, not a "spend money needlessly" hobby :)

personal opinion, others may differ

I agree, Headsmess, about people making this hobby waaaaay more expensive than it needs to be. The chinese run 30 wt motor oil mixed with low octane gas, and it works fine. Personally, I run the Wal-Mart generic mixed 32:1 with the cheapest gas I can find, and haven't had a single fuel issue. But, like Al says, if you don't ride much and let your fuel get old, a stabilizer is a must. All this fuss over high octane and miracle additives is just a way to blow your hard-earned money out the tailpipe.

my thoughts exactly.
cheap 2 stroke oil and cheap gas ,for a cheap engine.....what more could you ask for?
keep it simple.

I know you asked about Seafoam in HT engines, can't say much about that, I don't own one, but it is a good product for treating 4 stroke engines. I had very good luck with it, not as a fuel additive but as treatment through the carb to eliminate carbonizing in upper cylinders and piston crowns. It totally rejuvenated one used and abused 4 stroke I picked up and a lot easier and faster than tearing it down.
