Sprockets Manic Mechanic has gone... maniac. need Sprocket Adapter!

Well I don't know if any of you have seen the message on the home page of the manic mechanic website....

But it appears that sprocket adapters are no longer available. My brother and i already put in an order for one before seeing his message there. Havent heard back from him about a refund though.

ANYWAYS.... we've got a bike we need up and running ASAP. The sparse Colorado winter seems to be over and financial troubles have reduced us to one car, so we'll be relying pretty heavily on the bike.

I've started moving my motor and parts over to my new OCC chopper bike, and need a rear sprocket adapter that will fit that hub. I was looking at the large clamshell adapter from Live Fast Motors. Does anyone know if this will fit?

Completely agree: some people, no matter how detailed the instructions; no matter how good the advise; no matter how good the item quality and inbuilt idiot proofing, have the ability to mess up the assembly process using butchery and sheer incomprehensible incompetence that defies belief.
Even when having the obvious logic of their error pointed out in clinical fashion, they still manage to make a complete shambles of the assembly a second time around.

Some people should just give up on the dream of being a (know it all) engineer.

Worse still: people who look at your bike a give a lengthy explanation of how they would "make it faster".

Hey Chainmaker, those Sportsmanflyers are sharp. I wonder about one thing, lots of builds have short exhaust pipes for 2-strokers. I started out the same way but found that oil discharge fouled everything behind the end of the pipe. Black oil on red bikes shows up pretty quick! I ended up going to a full length exhaust with stinger, even though they don't look as good as short pipes, and I still get residue on my fender and rear wheel. Am I missing something. Is there an oil that doesn't discharge?
