Besides the predator 99cc where to get

Jackshift assembly, clutch,throttle assembly etc..

I have searched and search and only site I found was crazy high

Ty fellow builders

like the jackshaft stuff from Mc Master Carr - you buy the parts separately. Try Pirate for motor bike stuff. Spend time here looking at what the guys have done.

professor: McMaster-Carr offers about half a million items at http://www.mcmaster.com. If you feel that they offer a good jackshaft solution, why don't you break a little sweat and give some details to Stephencatfish?! Otherwise, why do you even bother posting?

Time to switch over to decaf, Max-M.

Or maybe it's time for the professor to switch over to double espressos!

But seriously: In my way of thinking, these forums are here for the purpose of sharing information, asking questions, learning, etc. I've benefitted greatly from motoredbikes.com. So it irks me a bit when I see postings where somebody makes a half-a**sed effort in responding to somebody's inquiry. The notion of fabricating a jackshaft setup from parts available from McMaster-Carr was intriguing to me. But how about some details on which of their half a million parts are required, and how you do the fabrication?!

Give it some thought, form complete sentences, provide links and photos...give some valuable and complete information!

(No offense meant to anybody.)

Just finished my 3rd cup of coffee, and all is well.

Take time to research the possible options for your drive system.
A little research goes a long way, and more importantly try to avoid the many mistakes made by others when attempting to connect the motor to the rear wheel.

If you are looking for a way to transfer the most power, consider NOT affixing the clutch to the crankshaft. The HF 79 & 99 CC motors already have LARGE flywheels and I know adding more flywheel weight only slows down the rate of acceleration, and asks the motor to give up some of the power to spin the clutch at full motor speed.

Consider locating the clutch to the rear of the drive and only spin at 1/2 motor speed. Take a look at the construction of the Q-Matic drive and you will quickly see why it transfers more power to the rear wheel than most other systems. The Q-Matic also employs an automotive wedge primary belt in place of the chain [less noise, cleaner, and maintence free], and makes the drive much thinner.

If you need detailed pictures, just ask.

BTW, my 99CC test bike with the Q-Matic drive, easily exceeds 50 MPH and climbs most hills.

Have fun,
