MY bike and I had a great ride today. We rode all the way from sanford,fl to silversprings ocala,fl. The bike ran great no problems. I think my back rim is starting to bend a little though. I need to get a 12 gauge rim. I ride alot and put alot of hard miles on my kits/bikes. So its top quality parts for me. Good tires Good tubes Good times! Nothing sucks as bad as getting 30miles away any store and getting a flat. I gotta container with all the tools and tubes i need to get around. Later!

Congratulations ! That's a pretty long ride ! You DO need a strong wheel , or else you are going to be walking, one day. One thing, they are easy to swap on these type drive trains.

I get 800miles outta of a drive wheel and it doesn't tear up my tire at all. instead of buying a new $20 tire every couple hundred miles i gotta buy a $9 drive wheel. I like it. I have a kit with a steel roller it last a long time but i go through walmart tires quickly..

Learn how to properly drive these type rigs. Lightly " Feather " the accelerator , pedal a little every time from a standstill, NEVER rev which causes the drive roller to spin & burn rubber off the tire. Make sure the kit is seated at the right angle & applying correct pressure down on the tire. [ about 1/4" compression ] Basically, take it very easy . I have changed tires due to dry rot, before they were worn out.

Hey 2stroker - congrats on ur Bumblebee. You're gonna like it!! The engines won't break - I only carry a tube, 15mm wrench, phillips screwdriver, and 10mm wrench for a tire issue. Of course, I get to ride with Mr. Bumblebee and carry a secret carb tool for speed - mine is the fastest Bumblebee! Wanna race?
