Anyone know a good resource to buy a 700c 36 spoke wheel. I do not need it threaded as I will take the wheel and a Grubee HD hub to the bike shop to get it spoked. What gauge spokes should I be installing.

Thank you

So you need just the hoop then? Not too hard to find 700C hoops with 36H. Here's one:

I'd recommend 12ga spokes if you're using a hub brake. If you're using a rim brake 14g will suffice, though some will still say go with 12ga.

Thanks for the reply.

I really appreciate it. I know it is not that big a deal for people who have been in the forum for a long time but I spend lots of time looking for reliable people I can do motorbike business with.

The more I think about it I might be best off just buying a complete wheel. You seem to know a bit about them. 700c for beach cruiser type bike. 12ga spokes and a sealed bearing hub. It would be great if it had a coaster or drum break. Any Ideas

700C is typically for road, "crosstrainers", and "29ers". Those bikes usually are 32H with 14ga spokes. Cruisers don't typically come with 700C wheels and 700C wheels with coaster brakes are pretty rare.
They do exist, tho: http://www.amazon.com/Dimension-Coaster-Brake-Wheel-Shimano/dp/B004JKIEFU/

I've never seen a 700C with 12ga and 36H. What you're looking for would likely have to be custom built. Find the hub you want, find a suitable hoop, and get some 12ga spokes, like the Sapims at Holmes Hobbies.
You'd need to figure out the spoke length you need, too. I can't help with that. It may be easier for you to get a custom wheel built at http://thewheelmaster.com/

This is really what I want to end up with. But on a 700c that will fit my 29er.

Or like this. http://sportsmanflyer.com/IMAGES/wheels1.jpg I want to eliminate the rag joint.

I assume your 29er has gears on it. The easiest way I can think of for that is to get a rear wheel with disc brake rotor mount and use a Top Hat adapter or similar.
