Clutch How do I remove the clutch for replacement?

or you could wrap a flathead screwdriver in electrical tape, and jam it in between the gears to stop rotation. Try using a big flathead screwdriver (stubby type short one) and a vice grip on the screwdriver. Push down and turn, now you should have it.
 
This is where I'm stuck.

I started getting this bad scraping/rattling sound from my clutch so I'm taking it apart to have a look. My big friction pad plate gear has some play to it, not sure if it's supposed to be like that. I can't get the nut in the smaller hub part off, it moves the drive chain and rear wheel. I'll try to lock up the chain with some wire or something.

I also don't have that extractor thing... What else to expect? Am I even on the right track??
