I've read many posts and watched a few videos on proper adjustment for this beast; the more I read or watch, the more confused I become. Lemme see.... One (or more) person says that the rear fuel-air mix screw should be backed off one full turn from closed, and ABSOLUTELY no more, to prevent burning up the engine. Okay, I'll buy that, at least for now.

Which direction is which when adjusting the idle (front) screw? Does turning it in (clockwise) cause it to run richer or leaner? I have not one clue what I'm doing with this carb. If I can't sort this out in the next day or two I'll probably be forced to (gasp!) find a small engine mechanic and let him/her sort it out.

Any and all pearls of wisdom will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

 Cliff
