Anyone know what I should do to fix this problem? I hit a hump in a gas station lot, it was for the tanker to fill the underground tank.
I hit it hard enough that I almost lost it and my right foot hit the gear shifting mechanism for the rear sprocket of my bike.
That caused the chain on the bike to jump off while I was recovering and bind between the frame and sprocket.
I didn't realize it had happened until a couple of minutes went by and the motor quit pulling and seemed to be in neutral.
I fixed the bikes chain and took off the drive chain cover on the engine. I couldn't see anything that showed signs of being broken.
I then took the next cover off, the clutch, the three clutch pads are in the closed position so as not to engage the drive chain.
I don't have the slightest idea what to do next and this is my only transportation.
I have the rest of today to fix problem as I need to drive it to work tomorrow morning at 6 am.
Can anyone help me?

I not sure but it came as a package with the 142 four stroke. Looks pretty stock though doesn't have any name on it.
The gearbox just had a chain about an inch wide in it and a bearing that fits in the cover plate by way of a circular mold made in the plate. Also a bearing for the drive sprocket both bearings are steel too.
Its the Japanese / Chinese motor name starts with an H.
Best I can do on the type gearbox.
Hope you can offer some advice.

Sounds like the infamous "hoot" gearbox....if so, I personally would not waste my time trying to repair it......replace with a better gearbox......Question, is the engine shaft the 5/8 keyed type or the short tapered type.....if the keyed type check to see if the key sheared.....

Not sure what to look for, I've taken the chain out of the gear box, the three clutch plates are still in place and are in a position that tells me the clutch is fully engaged.
I've removed the bolts attaching the clutch to the motor but the aluminum housing will not come loose from the engine and I'm afraid of breaking it.
I don't know how you take the bolt holding the three clutch pads off when I try it turns.
do I wedge something between them and the housing to break the bolt loose?
Do I even need to break this bolt loose?
is there ANYONE? That can give me some insight?
I'm going nuts!!!!

I am going nuts too.
How about a few pics.

You have a 4 stroke 50 cc Huasheng with the tapered shaft and one of the
pocket bike chain gearboxes.

Where did you buy it from?

There are 4 bolts that holds the gearbox onto the engine.....the gearbox should slide over the clutch and come off......without seeing it, its hard to give you advice ...post pics if possible........

Hey ya'll I've uploaded pictures of my clutch assembly, took almost an hour to do so as I'm using my so called smart phone. I wasn't able to get them to load in this reply but they are on my pageand please do check them out. I'm at a loss and am really in need of some help.
Thanks in advance of your help!
