I just can't figure it out, do these stupid listings say the engine dimensions Anywhere!? :snobby:

Well, I want to get an engine like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/66-80CC-MOT...Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c6ca69c40&vxp=mtr

But I have this bike:

http://www.bikesboardsandblades.com/Bike Preview/ComfortBikes/TrekNavigator300_2.html

(Navigator 300) and because of its stupid 'unisex' frame, i'm unsure as to whether the engine will fit in the bike or not.

Thanks for the help, and the url is not bad, I just like to change it to shady things.

The Trek frame in the pic will not accommodate an in-frame motor. You can either get a rack mount kit (thatsdax, staton-inc, etc) or go electric with that Trek. If you really want an in-frame motor, get a bike with a beach cruiser frame for easy installation.

It is possible to fit motors into frames like that if you know what you are doing.

Check out Venice Motor Bikes race bike which has an www.ArrowMotorizedCycles.com reed box
to clear the frame.

Thanks everyone. your replies have been extremely helpful.

I don't understand all the bike language you're using, but could somebody maybe point me to an engine that would fit for maybe $100-$200?

It would be greatly appreciated!

The engine you linked to is the same dimensions as any other one.

The VMB race bike type build is by a very experienced builder and I
wouldn't recommend you try to put an engine on your Trek as a newb
unless you are pretty mechanically inclined and have a few tools.

The front motor mount was ground/filed to fit the frame, the rear motor
mount was cut down or removed and the head had fins cut down.

That Trek frame may be a hair too small anyway which is impossible to
tell from a pic.

There is a full size printable outline of a motor around here somewhere.
