First motor install

I'm going to try and put a 2 stroke in my bike this weekend. I've had the bike for about 5 years now. I put a sissy bar and tall handlebars on it to make riding more comfortable. Now that I'm putting a motor in the bike I've set it up with the seat low to make the sissy bar more stable, I also, put a front brake on and the original bars. I'll post progress as I go.the bottom pic is how it was and the top pic is how it will be set up for the motor install. The way it was set up in the bottom pic is nice and tall but the back of the banana seat was wagging all over the place so it needed to be changed up.

That will look golden when it's done! Did you get a silver motor or a black one? I'd like to see the finished product when it's done!

I put the motor in the frame for a test fit and it seems ok. The carb could be more level but I don't think it's enough to cause me a problem. I would have to trim the carb's filter cover to get it to sit in there better.

Got the motor in and went for a ride, it cruised around nicely, sounds like a weed whacker. Wouldn't kick over first few runs so I freed up some tension on the clutch arm and opened up the spark plug gap and it lit up.

Wow you did a GREAT job with that! It turned out nice! Those clucthes are always a PAIN in the ass (either it fully engages and drives good but wont idle when its locked in...OR it will slip and no work at all/slip and start and then idle fine while locked in) its always messing with either the flower nut or the clutch cable! Once you get all the lmeons worked out they're awesome! Where did you get your kit? I have a kit coming from Rose(rose326a on ebay) in the mail tomorrow, it's my millionth motor kit and I'm so excited and hyped up like it's my first ever! I just CANNOT wait!!!!!!

Thanks, I got the kit from Rose on eBay too. That banana seat looks cool on there but there's no way I can leave it on because it is super uncomfortable, ill be putting the stock seat on with a layback bar. Thanks again.
