Hey VC,
I'm building one of these as well using a Grubee 66cc and am having some left pedal crank to engine case clearance. You have the same issue?

Its tight as mate... you can just about get a rizzla paper between the two. I used the angle grinder (lightly ) on the left crank arm and just spent lots of time lining the engine up. Hope this helps.. will be posting more pics as the bike is pretty much up and running. Hope this helps

I built one for a guy over the summer, and I remember the left crank being so very close (Rizla paper made me laugh! Haha). I used a steel plate chopper mount from Dax, and I think I had to space out the rear sprocket with another rubber donut thingy. I don't remember exactly though.

It really bothered me that the guy didn't want to upgrade to a long running exhaust & I had to use the stock one. But it still turned out really nice. Quite a solid bike too!

I forgot about the chain. I had to turn the chain tensioner upside down and add a link or two so it wouldn't rub on the frame. I wasn't sure what to do about that at first, and it was the best solution I came up with.

I had to do the same with mine.... I am on my second as the first disintergrated from overtightening it..
