Hey there, I am Jaandlu from California. Just got my first kit a few months ago. 48cc Skyhawk. I have spent more time working on it than riding it. Thanks to this place, I got it running. This place is a goldmine of knowledge.

wished mine was done too did you have trouble with engine mounting as well ? any way used to live in way northern cali by the border so have fun

I had no problems with the engine mounting. But I made sure I have the right frame before I started. I didn't want to have to modify anything so I took my bike into Piston Bikes and had them tell me if it look like a good fit for the engine. They said yes and so I went forward. Have you considered modifying another bike frame?
