53cc HS engine

Found out how to buy these directly without messin with ebay. Seller said it was ok to post info on here if anyone is interested, these come with a clutch and tank. Jamesgrube01@msn.com or 816 868-0288. I'm giving up on buying a good Honda 50 or a HS 49cc and am just going to buy this and be happy, spring is close at hand and I'm tired of messin with it. Supposed to get an email on price and shipping will let you know, said he has a boatload of motors to sell.

How cool!Do us a fav, please list the weight of the engine, and after you get it how it works/works out for you. Also what kind of drive are you hooking it to?

Grem its the same motor as a HS 49cc, weighs 12lbs. Its to replace the gx35cc on my staton FD, 35cc just doesn't make me smile like the 50s do.

Not calling you a liar, but there is NO WAY it's 12lbs.A R/S-EH035 weighs 11lbs.If it's the same HS-49cc as on Staton, it's 20lbs.

R/S 35cc weighs 8lbs, shipping weight is 12/13 lbs. A HF 79cc motor weighs 20lbs, motor only......... Yea Blue I know its no longer listed currently, that's why I called the number on the page because I want one even at that price. He's supposed to email me the price for just 1 and we'll see if it's changed at all without ebay taking a cut.

Is it the same as this one: http://www.staton-inc.com/store/products/Huasheng_142F_49_cc_Four_Cycle_4_Stroke_Engine-1701-11.html
It shows 20lbs, if he's adding 8lbs shipping weight that's pretty unscrupulous. Also the tank on the top, do they require gravity feed?

Grem your a persistent one I'll say. Notice at the bottom of the page/specs weight is 5.5 kgms. 1 kgm= 2.2 lbs. HS49/53cc weighs the same as the gx50, approx. 12lbs. GX35 weighs same as a 35 soobie at approx. 8lbs.

That I am, I was checking, and found the same.Gotta say, what is in the box staton sells to add 8lbs??!Anyway, gravity feed, required?

Yea the light weight is what makes those great mab motors. Only the HS is gravity fed with top tank unless you put a diaphragm carb on it.
