Hi everybody, name's Kevin.
Some of you may remember me from years back (or maybe not! :D )

I started building motorized bicycles about 12 years ago when the little China 2-strokes were the new hot thing.
Later, I moved on to a Whizzer and never looked back.
I actually found this place while doing a google search of motorbikes, and saw my very first bike was being used in the "bikemotorkit.com" add.
Here's a better picture.....

Kind of weird seeing a picture of my old bike flash up on the side-bar every few seconds!
Anyways, I moved on for a while with other hobbies, and just recently got the bike bug again. I've decided to pull my Whizzer out of retirement to make a few needed upgrades. It's a 2005 NE-5 that's been ported, milled head and a few other tweaks I can't remember. It needs a set of mushroom lifters, and a new carb and a carb spacer (thing used to boil the gas in the bowl something terrible). Also looking into better brakes (gettin' close to 50mph on a bike really sucks when you CAN'T STOP )
Sadly, I've noticed parts availability for the Whizzers just isn't what it used to be!

Here's what she looked like when i parked her a few years back...

I hope to be riding it again soon.

Talk to you all soon,

Kevin Waddle

Welcome back aboard.

I've been riding china girls for about 6 years now and consider myself experienced.
But if you're in the twelve year range, then that qualifies you as 'elder statesman'.

Nice looking Whiz, by the way.

Welcome, red one is a museum piece, very nice.

Thanks guys!

Things sure have changed since I took my break. I see aftermarket parts for the China motors everywhere and Whizzer parts are getting as rare as hen's teeth!

Love the club bars. I've been thinking of getting a pair for my bike. It's not a Whizzer, but it does have a 98cc flathead 4 stroke in it. Currently have some old ladies' ten speed bars (cruising type bars, not roadie bars), and they're comfortable, but I like the look of club bars better. Anyway, that is a very nice bike, and welcome back.

You seem like you'd be driving an old ladies bike, makes sense. Your words remember " old ladies' ten speed " LOL!

That bike is sweet, how much if you listed it?

Your China girl cruiser totally has the look and stance of an Iron 833. Where did you get that seat on the China girl? It looks perfect.

$3500 is my guess.................ya know not many MABs impress me but that's one. Cool factor I think is it.

You're right, I did word that funny. What I meant to say was an older model ladies ten speed. It was a Grantsport to be exact. Sold by Grant's department stores until the 70's, when Grant's closed it's doors forever. That was before my time. I found the bike at a yard sale for $5 and stripped it of all its good parts, then my buddy took what was left to the scrap yard. As far as my driving an old ladies bike, that's hardly the case.
