Riding "slightly" above the law ?

Yep, its 48cc in Az, consensus is cops dont care, unless your showing blatant disregard, which is good for us.
Yep.
'Berry Berry' good for us and me especially me as I tend to keep building to extremes but not an issue to the law if ridden in a safe manner to you and those around you.

Ever watch 'Tool Time'? grunt sounding 'Errggh, Errggh,Errggh, More Power!'
Tim Allen, Loved it ;-}
In that vain 35cc just sounds pretty wimpy Bill.

KC, I would tend to agree with you (35cc=wimpy), with say a f/d arrangement.The crankshaft kit I am looking at has a high top speed (which I am not that concerned with, but it is nice to be able to maintain speed pulling a grade) and good pulling power through gearing.My ideal kit would be a frame mount kit with shift kit with a reliable engine, that seems to be the consensus.Gotta wonder why a "reliable" kit has not surfaced.The staton side mount kit is close, just get that damn motor in the frame rails, lol.I need the kit to get me back and forth to schoool for the next 2-years, so I need serious reliability.I am not knocking the china girl Grubee kits as a whole, they have their place and are cool.Tool time was cool, love Tim Allen !

You are lucky Bill, you are local to me and I kind of specialize in fitting the right bike, power plant, and drive train to the users needs and budget.

Needs vs Desires vs Budget is always the hardest part, and budget is usually the bottom line.

I don't usually sell parts, especially motor kits as I don't have to handle endless questions to make $20 on a engine kit a rookie tries to build when I build bikes tested and ready to go and seldom here from customers after the sale other than their free tune-ups.

I can steer you in the right direction for free if you like and do have some new parts if you think you handle the building with little help.

I have road a MB for about a year and have never been stopped or questioned just wonder how others feel about this...Thanks.

The main reason why people get stopped is because they behave like an idiot when riding their motorized bicycle. The second reason why they get stopped is because people report a motorized bicycle to the police when they ride their bike like an idiot; with no respect shown to other road users or cyclists.

I've travelled over 55,000 kilometers (34,200 miles) in 4 1/2 years and have never been stopped by the police. It might have something to do with the fact that i ride sensibly and in keeping with speeds that are appropriate for a bicycle.
