i have read this forum for years, and I am a avid motor bike builder. I have built around 15 bikes over the past few years, and I've begun to turn my hobby into a little business. ive even got my whole friend group to buy bikes off me :) now we cruise around town with matching shirts like a motorcycle group .this website has helped with so many problems I have encountered building custom bikes.

after so many bike builds I can go from unboxing and engine to test ride in 1.5hours (that's my record)

Im happy to finally be able to post and reply to people on here!!!

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you really know how to build and enjoy motorized bikes. I don't think I could get the motor sprocket properly installed on the back wheel in that amount of time.

Excellent! Welcome aboard.

Perhaps I could do a build in an hour and a half. But that's only if all went well. And if I didn't loaf so much.

Welcome aboard Rebel.

Cool, so did I ;-}

I take ~1.5 DAYS on all my builds, some as much as 1.5 WEEKS.
I guess we just have different quality and appearance standards.
I would sure like to see some of your work, mine is linked in my sig.

Best of luck with the business, it's booming for me.

Wow I'm suprised to see so many people read and reply to my "introduce yourself " thread . I usually take a full day installing my engine and another 2 or 3 to test ride and ensure reliability. Hour and a half is my record (with drill). Also I use sprocket to hub adapters on all my coaster brake bikes so I don't have to play around with the silly squish stock sprocket .

KC I've heard of you guys, I think it will take me a few more years and bit more money to get to where you are. Do you mind me asking when you started your business?

Welcome Reb, click on KCs website. He does nice work.

I built my first build in late 2009 and sold the next day after to a guy in the grocery store parking lot.
I had to walk home hehe ;-}

Built another and a computer customer seen it, we talked, and he loaned me $2,500 for tools and parts to build 3 more bikes.

I bought a bunch of shop tools and built these.

I closed my computer business and been dinking with MB's ever since.
I couldn't make a nice living doing do it but I don't have to, my wife works ;-}

Best of luck carving a nitch in your neck of the woods, it really is a fun way to make some money and always have something new and fun to ride.
