Make room for a low CG engine on a 20" bike.

Now that we have gathered the data that show why 20" wheels have many advantages why not do this:


I suggest that a tubular box could be fabricated and welded that would push the rear wheel back and it would make room for a very low mounted engine. The gas tank would be over the rear wheel.

Can you imagine it?
 
Stu - There are e-bike frames that mount the batteries behind the seat tube, pushing the back tire more rearward.
Such a frame from a dead e-bike would allow you to mount the engine lower.
 
what's wrong with a traditional frame mount?
