One of a kind CUSTOM complete bike in Orange County !!

It's a fine looking 48cc completely stock direct drive engine, why lie in your Carigs ad about it's speed?
Somebody is going to be very disappointed if they wanted 40MPH and it'll barley do 30.

Sure, a higher gear ratio helps if you have the power and momentum to use it.
Ever try to pedal a 7-speed in 7th from a dead stop?
All direct drive systems are a fixed gear ratio which is why I am shifter kinda guy.

With little power to work with but the wind and surface resistance was low enough to compensate for drag a stock 48cc could do 40MPH sure.

For example if the rider were to tailgate a big truck like NACAR drivers do to 'draft' behind the car in front of him sure, heck a recumbent trike alone can because of reduced drag, we are talking a stock 2HP engine with big Ape Hanger handlebars, might as well add a drag shute to it for heavens sake and I'd bet it won't even hit 25MPH on it's best day.

Fine bike for those that like the look, I just don't like BS performance claims is all.

Thanks for bumping the thread. There always has to be someone to think they know everything =/ Sad part is most of the time they are completely wrong... Tell you what bring a grand in cash and ill bring the bike with a GPS attached and when it hits 40 you give me the cash, if it doesn't ill give you bike and grand.

Put your money where you mouth is

Here is my number go ahead and give me a shout when you want to hand over the cash 714 457 1127

Lol he said 48cc.. i chuckled when i saw that haven't seen one of those since like 2005.

Please if you are trying to rip apart someones post based off the facts of " you think you know this and know that " please just move to another thread, i have nothing to hide and no reason to " call bs on performance " i have built more of these bikes than you can even think of a very large background in 2 cycle engines. So thank you for all your kind words above but please stop trying to be a Mr know it all and just move along.

All I did was read your ad, it doesn't say engine size, it says '100% street legal', the only thing I know legal there in CA and here in AZ is a 48cc.

I'm NOT trying to put you on the spot here or give you ****, but I'm not some bumpkin either and the bottom line is you either have an illegal bike that will go 40 or a legal one that won't and THAT is what irritates me.

Just give truth a try in advertising, it has it's rewards.

either way both bikes are "illegal" due to the EPA if were are going to talk about whats legal and whats not legal. I personally imported 25 of these motors they are fast as hell and pull for days, just next time please don't jump to conclusions about someones project thinking you know what it can and cant do. thats all

have a good rest of your weekend.
