Anyone have any experience with this motor? Lists for $279+ship and claims made in the USA. Kinda pricey in the Honda 50 ballpark almost. What say you?

I want to be neutral on you butterbean, do not disappoint me.

Having bought 1 Dax Motor (not this version), I'd bet it is worth every penny. Every item I have bought from Dax has been good to excellent.

With a motor like this, you could easily run a 36 tooth gear and have plenty of top end speed.

No worries Darwin, we're cool buddy. Just wanted to see what kind of info was on dax's site. He typically does not provide a whole lot of info or pics. I remember hearing that the titans were re-branded HuaSheng engines. Looking at the pic, it looks like any other HS engine and the description doesn't give a whole lot to go on, like whether the engine is hopped up or where it comes from. My guess is that he is hopping them up himself, something he has been known to do with the HT engines, but with good results from what I've heard. I've never heard many complaints about Dax in general, although I think his flat rate shipping is a little silly, $9 for a mag coil, but whatever. Any little parts I need, I buy on eBay for the cheaper shipping but I guess that's neither here nor there. My personal opinion is, I wish there was a better description of Dax engines especially the ones that claim extra horsepower because I have a hard time believing sometimes with things like that, but his customer service is unmatched. And again these are just my personal opinions so I hope no one attacks me. But so we are clear Darwin, I'm not here to attack or criticize you or anyone else. Just here to share my opinion. If you want to buy this engine, it doesn't look like a bad deal especially if it's a replacement for an existing bike.

Wow, Duane has gone overboard with his lies now.

First he lied that his 2 strokes are Made in USA.
All he did with the 2 strokes is bolt the top end on the bottom end.

The motors have ALL Chinese parts with absolutely nothing being
changed or upgraded in the bottom end.

I know this for a fact because I get motors from the same
Chinese factory as Dax used to sell.
Dax now sells a GT 5 type motor that is not as smooth as the
40 mm PK 80 style he used to sell.

Duanes latest outrageous claims that his Hausheng with a Dax
sticker on it makes 3.25 HP is laughable, except the joke is on
anyone getting ripped off buying one.

Looks like a standard HS to me.....but could be wrong
You got it, Dax has been putting Titan stickers on Huasheng motors for years.

I had an interesting thread on the other forum asking Dax what made his
Super Titans make more HP and he had no answers except to evade the
question and send me PM's that he was going to sue me.
