I was looking at a bike online that looks like a perfect fit for my upcoming 2 stroke build. Anyone ever used a Vilano Fixed gear bike? It looks like its got lots of room for the motor and its already got a sprocket for the motor chain. Looks like I can get some real speed from this bike with a 2 stroke and it comes in back with red rims which looks pretty bad ass.

I really like how it has the fixed gear sprocket on the left side of the hub that way I wouldn't need to use the kit rear sprocket and it would go pretty fast since its a pretty small sprocket.

That fixed gear sprocket is way too small to work.

Also the sprocket will unscrew if it is threaded on.

Oh right. I forgot to take into account the fact that you switch the wheel which means the left side sprocket turns in the opposite direction. I'm still window shopping bikes but this seems like a pretty good one. Would need to swap out the fixed gear hub for a traditional hub and use a drive sprocket.

With those skinny tires and rigid forks, its not going to be a very smooth ride. You're going to feel every shock.

Don't do skinny tires. 700c is asking for flats and rough riding, the skinnier they are. 2.25" mountain bike tires are a good choice. Hardtail is fine. Ridgid fork is doable - it's better to have a front fork with shocks.
