new build

after many disappointments with my old bike i felt it was time to go with a different build so i went with a friction drive and here she is

she performs well i couldnt give you a speed but i can tell you that i dont even have to push much on the throttle for this thing to book.
 
If you have a modern smartphone go download a cycling app. I'm running BikeBrain on my Iphone6+ and it works quite well. Most of these bikes will do between 25-40 mph. Way faster than most cyclists can maintain for 20 miles.
 
Is this friction drive engine a specific Honda product for bicycles? Where did you get it? $$? Thx.
 
There are several companies that sell friction drive motor units. They are reasonably easy to install and installed properly they are very reliable and durable. I suggest you research our website here to review the various motorised options to better inform your decision.
