Hey guys,
I'm in the preliminary stage of building my first bike, so I thought in the meantime I'd entertain myself by asking for pictures of your awesome bikes :). I've already seen some cool stuff in my short time on this forum, but nowhere have I seen a thread devoted to pictures of your delicious machines!
Let's see what you're riding :)!
(also, if I missed a thread like this, please point me in the right direction.)‎

That's easy for me.
Just click the link in my sig, got 100+ ;-}

Okay......here's mine. The frame is an old Huffy. Among the last that were made in Dayton OH. When I first realized that I could squeeze a happy time engine in there I was glad. I figured this would make a good motorized bicycle. And the answer is yes, to a point. It's good. But it has a few odd sizes to it and it's almost impossible to attach a few components properly. So this bike won't be around forever.

It's the fourth one I've built since 2008. I'm recycling bike #3 right now into bike #5.

I'll go off topic just a bit, too. The thread can surely get back to the point.

Here's my wife's ride. A 50cc Honda Metropolitan.

I never managed to convince her to love the bicycle the way I do. So I finally just bought her a scooter. She perked right up when I mentioned that, I can tell you. And she's been very enthusiastic about riding. She doesn't let the threat of rain, even cold rain, stop her.

It's been great. I have a pickup truck and she has a Chevy Malibu. And now both of our 4 wheeled vehicles will sit for a week, 10 days, at a time without moving. Very economical.

I'm even shopping around for new insurance that's willing to discount for very low mileage drivers.

Insurance on the Honda, by the way. $85 a year. It might as well be free.

Life is good.

Nice build kgyrobotron!

Is that a home made belt drive transfer case?
What is your initial gear reduction with it?
How does it attach?

Front shock, rear disc, spiffy pipe, very nice.
Don't just love what the little 4-stroke will do with gears?

I am doing the same thing with my 10G long shaft transfer cases.
Taking the output from the initial belt reduction and putting it out right above the pedals.

Very well done bud.

hey KC, thx, its just a lever belt clutch. A 1 5/8 pully to a 5" Js pully , with 11t to 60t #35 chain sbp freewheel setup. I've got 2200 miles on my lil 142. I've got the plug upgrade you sug. and an NT carb/adt. ..but it just fine as she is. I would like to a 70 or so big brother come out. The 53 just ain't big enough. I've got a Honda g100 I'm fixin. Flathead. And your bikes are always clean builds.

I guess engine size depends on your state laws.
Here it's 48cc and <20mph.

Pfftt, these can double that speed and be close to that 48cc limit.
I have been fighting for years to make that limit at least 66cc and 30MPH but Arizona is a wacky state.
It's all more gun rights and abortion restrictions.

I vote and never voted for any of them in office now.

It's damn hard to grow a business when what you build is technically illegal to ride.
