My second build HOT ROD

My second build is going to much longer do to expanse and being a scratch build. This one is going to be my HOT ROD and will be tricking the engine out since I have my stock daily rider. Biggest thing I am trying to figure out is what wheels I am going to run or build. Any suggestions are welcome. A few things I have gotten so far.
Thanks
Jeff

From what I've heard those frames can't take a wide tire so I'd probably run 26x1.95ish.... I like a wide tire myself so I'd do some modifications to run the 2.4 cyclops tire which is a nock off maxxis hookworm for only like 15$ a tire, I'd also run a black 80cc HT engine with a Puch chrome head for looks mainly but a power increase, a coaster brake rear with a disc brake front end, a laid back seat post with some small 10 in rise apehangers, black frame with accents of chrome.... Aka handlebars, wheels, cranks, sprocket.... All this would equal to a build especially those monarch forks ;)

Going to run 26 x 2.35 tires and the frame can run them. I all ready have the USA made higher compression head.
Thanks
Jeff

Check out this site for a lot of different heavy duty wheels. http://custommotoredbicycles.com/ch...26_inch_x_2125_assembled_in_usa_better_chrome This is where I plan on getting mine.

I just ordered a skyhawk frame and some triple tree forks elsewhere for a new project. We're about in the same stage except my frame and forks are still on the way lol.

Oh by the way here's a link to a good video on how to install your headset without buying a $70.00 tool. You can make your own!

Thanks for the video. I have several neck cup tools for motorcycles I think I can get one to work or adapt to work.
Thanks
Jeff

Hope fully I will be ordering a SkyHawk GT5A since the GT5-SR is not imported to the US.
Thanks
Jeff

I didn't even know there was a tool for it. I have a foot of 3/4 threaded rod and some nuts and washers for installing headsets and it's worked great for years.

you can also get them in with just a mallet if you feel so inclined.

I will be running a Mikuni VM Series round slide carburetor 18mm clamp mount VM18-144-WP .

Order this for the project today. Think I got a good price $145 shipped. I will not be running the carburetor, exhuast, gad tank, or sprocket kit as I will be up grading all of these.
