So I received an offset intake manifold yesterday...and it seems to be a bit too large for my NT carb. I had to loosen the flanges with the stock manifold and upon trying to get it on my flanges broke :(. Woops.

Anyways, I'm in the market for a carb and I want to make sure I get one that will fit and form a proper seal. The carb worked well once tuned before but I used a rubber elbow which would come loose with the way the carb clamps on. That's why I purchased the offset manifold. I have attached some images as well. Thanks!

I have been looking at those! Do they perform well for you? And do you feel it is capable of a better seal and fitting on a pipe that seems to be slightly larger than stock?

^^^ I know that's hard to give an answer to.. just more asking for your opinion.

Thanks!

I found thay go better all round bit more nippy maybe some top speed gain but you need to get jets with them or your stuck for tuning.my one for 66cc did not. It would fly up to 40 kmh and then bad dirty note and sit there. That next carby up with all the tuning you can play with and handlebar choke is worse. If you got the money go for it but thay don't work out the box unless your lucky

Thanks for the advice. Ended up picking one up in a kit that included 5 different jets and a throttle cable. I also ordered another offset intake manifold that is a bit longer just in case. Hopefully everything will work out with one of them :D

I got this dellorto style carb off ebay with the air filter for about 20 bucks. I used the stock NT carb metal cable inlet piece and put it in this one so I could use my stock throttle cable. I have jetted it to a .66 and it runs way better than the NT carb that came with my engine kit. Check out eBay just filter for US sellers if you don't wanna wait 2-3 weeks for shipping from China lol.
