I have read frequently in this forum that people are suggesting to change Plug Wires , now my ignition coil is as in the photo. How can i change the plug wire ? People state that the stock plug wires are crappy ! I havent yet started the engine .
Same about stock plug.

You generally don't need to worry about the actual spark plug wire, but IF it becomes an issue it unscrews from the CDI, it don't want to come off but you can cut if off and dig it out if need be, but darn sure don't start a new build there!

As for a better spark plug hand down the NGK 7544 (CR7HIX) Iridium IF you have a slat head engine, if your plug stands straight up, don't use this, it's longer!

What you may have read about is the crappy pair of wires between the Magneto in the engine and the CDI.
I never use that stock wiring, but that is more for ascetics and reliability and not appreciable performance gain like the spark plug.

I like the solid copper wires that come with many of the kits, but if you want to change it, on most CDI units it just unscrews out of the unit - be aware that for some CDIs, it has been glued in place and needs a lot of careful work to dig out the glue

It comes out counter clockwise but the best way to clean up the glue around it is with a metal pick I used an msd wire I had laying around I recommend gluing the new one in with some silicone sealant after. Hope that helped
