OK FOLKS JUST CHECKED 3 OF MY 4 GAS GAPS AND NONE OF THEM HAVE A ONE WAY VALVE IN THEM SO THEY ARE GOING TO LEAK THROW THE CAP. Cheaply made and do not have a one way valve. Best thing to do is carry a rag and do not feel them up all the way.

If you take the cap off blow throw the vent holes you will get air. Most vent gas caps you can suck in but not blow throw so this shows there is not a one way valve in these caps.

Read the card the RTV comes on. I would not want to take a chance on it getting in my motor. So far the only sealer I know none gas soluble is Hilmar or the Hilmar clones. But this is a none hardening sealer. Only thing I use if I use sealer but I try to stay away from sealer if possible. You sure do not want to block the vent of you will get a vapor lock and it will not run this is why you have to have a vent.

I am working on a cure for the none one way valve leaking gas cap. Waiting on a part and will post back when I get the part and it set up. It should work with out any problems and stop the leaking.
