Coaster brake not working with sprocket

I would trust them if you build them right, the only problem I've ever had with a coaster brakes was something that was my fault.... I didn't use high temp grease and all the grease burnt up, this caused my bearings to blow out with my axle
 
Got wheel on bike and my chain tensioner fell into my spokes, luckily (better than not) my wheel locked up when it did so it didn't bend anything

man, now i want to try sticking a coaster brake in the front forks!

run a length of chain up the top, with some type of lever and pull back spring. sure it would work! just like rod brakes but sort of more DIY :)


pffft, who cares about practicality?

actually...waterproof, virtually no maintenance, maybe its not so stupid...
I've done it, makes a great setup.
