Is there a general consensus as to which 2 stroke China girl kit is the best.........tired of the crap you have to work on constantly...

All 2 strokes you will have to work on.... Nature of the beast, most people have had good luck with the Grubee Skyhawk

I have a 2015 model and it's very good quality but I haven't rode mine much since it's only been built for about 50miles

I've never even found a way to get the same kit twice from same vendor except to do lengthy email discussion before ordering - many vendors ship whatever comes in cheap this week without ever even looking in the box

I have a kit on order now after MUCH discussion with china supplier - will build it and then discuss parts that I will want different in future (assuming motor runs well).

Last time I went through all this to get good kits, I recommended that seller, but found that he sent crap kits to buyers on ebay rather that the ones he sent to me : (

I'll post in a month or so if these look good.

none of them are dependable. if the motor doesn't go wrong something else will. just today on the way back from lunch I got a pinch flat in my own driveway.

Started running motor today from new 40mm stroke kit. Coming up to full power quickly because of a nice, aggressive, hone on cylinder. Got a bit more vibration at low revs than the 38mm motors, but not horrible and may ease up when run in more.

No black motors available, which I really wanted for this bike (would have painted tensioner black if the motor was)

Looks like it will be OK tho, so I've finished my search for a new kit supplier.

Frank? I put 50 miles on with a ride after supper! Get riding man!

Seriously Dougsr, do your part looking after it and a stock Grubee will look after you.
So simple there is not a lot to go wrong. An after ride inspection and a weekly maintenance will take you far.

got another 10 kits - motors are all still very nice

kill wires were a bit short & mounting studs could be a centimeter or two longer, but I'm well pleased

they will increase the length of the mounting bolts and increase the length of the kill switch wires in time for a shipment to their US warehouse at end of year
no biggie for a while to cut longer studs on bikes that need them or solder longer wires for wide handlebars, so I'm happy to wait for improvements

for long clutch arms, I'll have to order elsewhere and offer as option with kit

the motor is the important part and these pull really well

sometime soon, I'll also need to order 40mm intakes and gaskets too to have on shelf, and a couple boxes of the allen head cover bolts

other than that, I'm good again with a slightly better motor

Do you get the. we call u bolt mount. in the kit .The Shop I get kits from just gives me one when i get a kit incase the frame is to fat .but over the counter like he takes them out the box .
