crank and piston removal

Can anyone explain to me the process of removing the crank and piston from 49cc Huanshang. I just don't get it. Need to get to the rings and valves why I'm loosing so much compression through valve cover. Thanks.

Figured it out valves slipped and are floating in the piston chamber. Oh this is fun, learning a lot though. LOL

Well got the piston out, Valves move all the way into the exhaust and intake chambers. I don't see how this could even be possible. motor is only 3 maybe 4 months old.
