Want to finish my fenders, don't know the best place to position on the wheels.

Front mainly, I think that higher speeds might throw water/road s**t up and forward in front of you, so to cause you to drive directly eyes first into the flying water and road debris as they reach that hight off the road.

Where could I possibly put a front fender, being about 3 feet along the 27.5 inch wheel, that would best protect the font of me up to my eyes and head from stuff?

Indeed. If the fender is a set length and not "full length" then it will always be a compromise between keeping your feet and pedal chain dry, and keeping the spray out of your face. Most of my bicycles fail at both!

Don't care as much about pedal area, but my face and front is the biggy, I wouldn't ride in the rain if I didn't like getting wet, but my eyes are best left being given the best chance at seeing other things. It's not a huge deal, mostly it's the little bits of stuff that ends up on my shirt and face I don't like.
