Carby Needle adjustment in racing carby?

are you sure you're running lean? what are your symptons? unless you're way below sea level I don't see the stock jetting on any carburetor ever being lean. do a plug chop.

The stock nt carby is fine, i get 42mph. When i put the racing carby on i get about 20mph max and it seems to jerk quite a bit and not get full power, almost as if its not getting enough petrol..
 
if its dying when you open the throttle, its too lean.

if its refusing to rev out... its too rich.

the stock NT carb works...why change? the word "racing" isnt going to add any speed.

IT looks better on the blue bike though...
 
having the right main jet in it will make the fuel mixture correct at full throttle but for mid throttle you have to fiddle with the holes in the fuel column. click on my signature link and then go to the page about the Dellorto carb.

Seems easy enough, i'll give it a go after my jets arrive.
