Hello everyone,
I am Malachi and this is my second attempt at this. Anyway, I have been reading and lurking for some time now, and have narrowed it down to two. This will be my first build, and am looking for something to go about 30 miles a day, (4 trips @ 7 miles) with the best MPG. I'm sure one day I will want to go super-fast, but for right now, 30MPH would be great.
Which one would you recommend?

thanks!,

I remember posting the first time was frustrating. Glad you made it. :)
Also I think you did the right thing reading up before committing to anything. If I lived in north America I would definitely definitely have bought the GT5A instead of a generic engine. The GT5A has a wide front frame mount for modern bikes (idk the measurements of the GT5A, but the generic has 34mm mount), it has 8mm mounting studs (generic has 6mm) so you can do them up tightly, and we were informed (can't remember who to credit, sorry) in a recent thread that the stud grade is adequate so you don't have to spend the extra $20 immediately replacing them all! :D
I don't know if the b.b. flying horse engine has any of that. :(
