well, I've sold out of kits and my supplier went out of business - other suppliers I've dealt with in the past are gone now too

really beginning to think I may not be able to find a source for good kits

not pistonbikes - need to make a little bit while selling at about $150 after doing all the labor to assemble motor and check all kit parts for dents & damage

got emails out to some ebay sites, but many are chinese business guys that buy boxes that they are told have some sort of kit inside and never open a box to see what kind of kit it is - many of these sites sell 10 or more diff kits at diff prices, but no explanation of what the diff is (all use same pic of kit parts too)

my supplier would sent me nice kits. but if I told someone on the forum to order one, they got an entirely diff kit that wasn't much good

life is like a box of chocolates! hahah i just buy whichever is cheapest and hope for the best

But i know what your going through my supplier has stopped doing 48's or 60's only 79's which i dont like , so i tried the cheapest ebayer (30€) cheaper than other supplier honestly seemed like a better machined engine but had aluminium intake (dont like) and also the z-l rod (not a fan of loose needle bearings)

I always open up the engines and flush them out as best possible usually get a good few shards of metal and old hard grease etc. but this one was spotless , mind i dint check the rest of the kit because was just swapping the engine but i'd recommend just trying the cheapest ebayer worst comes to worst you dont buy again and have some spare parts.

yeah, last time I bought 6 and all but one was a dud - 5 I took apart & put on shelf for cheap spare parts, the other became my new supplier - it gets rough when the customer comes to your shop to buy a kit and your kits are bad

damn that is bad , i musta been lucky (touched wood) but that last ebay one is only gone about 1week so we'll see , i kept 1 kit from old supplier 60cc with straight plug was gonna pop on a bike and sell but might hang on to it now, very hard to get quality stuff from a reliable source here too .
