just got a dyno glide deluxe

I'm in the middle of converting my huffy cranbrook to freewheel with a rim brake in the back and a disc in the front. When its finished the only parts left that are huffy will be the frame and chainguard. Starting to think I should have started on a more expensive bike...next build...next build...
How are you doing this

Yeah I'm hold right now with the brakes I do have the bracket I found on the front forks of a girls bike just gotta find someone to clean the old weld off and weld to rear of mine .. Thinking about ordering the front disk brake kit it comes with a spacer so I don't have to mess with that to much
Are you sure you need it welded on? Are you really sure? This is a very tricky bit of welding. Very thin tubing. Check the recent Huffy Nel Lusso thread!

If you have the v-brake mounts on an arch brace from a not-really-suspension fork, and your frame has a seatstay brace (perhaps with a hole for attaching a caliper brake or reflector), maybe all you need is two P clips, three nuts n bolts, and a drill.
The drill being for the arch brace, not your frame.

I have all of above in my tool box or truck just never thought about it like that.. Thank you

Do you think a couple screw band hose clamps would work .. I might do a thread on it just wanna have all the parts first .. I'm on eBay now trying to find a cheap brake to test it just confessed if I want v or cantilever (I think that's the correct name )

A V brake doesn't require a central cable stop. V brake is generally better IMO. Still worth getting a reasonable/ mid range one as cheap is just cheap!
I suppose Jubilee clips might/would work. P clips would be a lot tidier though, I expect. The arch is only being pulled tightly against the seat stays when you're braking, I don't think it needs a lot of support.
