Thoughts on GasBike hub adapter?

not sure the hose clamp will hold it, but haven't tried one to find out

Usually sprocket adapters have 2 x m8 or m10 bolts securing to the hub , I'd be 90% sure a hose clamp will not hold 2hp of pulling .

Not a good choice in my opinion. Destined to fail. If you haven't already bought it just kick in the extra 30 bucks for the clam shell adapter with sprocket. Make sure it is the right one to fit your hub. They come in different sizes.

My guess is this was designed to replace the 3 plates on the back of the rubbers and not be used on its own. So the order is Sprocket > Rubber> Spokes> Rubber> Gasbike Plate adapter

I would probably get everything threaded and bolted together loosely then hose clamp it down to center it all then tighten the 9 nuts.

I don't see any benefit if you are still just using rag joint? Maybe that is its intended use ,it doesn't seem worth it to me anyway .
