A simple compression check would be to remove the sparkplug and spin the motor a couple times with your finger in the hole. You should feel the pressure.
also it should take a lot more effort to turn with the plug in place. if it makes a hissing or sucking noise and turns over too easily with the clutch engaged, that's a sure sign of compression failure

how is it defective? pic would help

there are many different port mappings and cylinder heights out there these days - mix & match is a real problem

Be real tiff to get to that port looks like the Chinese red devil press his thumb on it made a broken indentation, trying start sounds like a sick AIR breather.
Got real good deal for 66 cylinder includes piston rings gaskets everything 12 bucks but the goddamn site is refusing my visa. Hope I send it direct.

I've laughed my ass off watching them schizos freak out because of motion blur..."Did you see that!!! OMFG DID YOU SEE THAT!!!" seems they all believe in niburu as well, and most look like they are regular meth users.

Finally maybe some reliefe in this case Gasbike sent me an email said they would send me a new ported cylinder, never thought they would honor there warrantee hope it gets drop in the mail by tomorrow before they change their minds.

yeah, but it's gasbike.net, so at least for yourself you should know you gotta assume they'll most likely need an extra three days to 'be themselves' or whatever they do, before actually doing anything

but I ordered all my stuff from gas bike. net and overall I got good value stuff, thoughtfully paired combos, and lackadaisical service. so I gotta say it wasn't bad, despite the extra week it took and the mystery of the two bottom bracket bearings: there was a US '70s style adapter cone set that included open cage ball bearings and everything to actually work with the very oversized bottom bracket housing on the 'skyhawk style' gt2 Alum. bike frame I got in my order. but intriguingly there was also a sealed BB, which is supposed to be all around higher performance. however, there was no way to use it - the local bike shop even couldn't see how you could use it with the frame - so I gave it to a friend who was helping me with the build

More rotten crap the China man at the shanghai motorfactory put the piston in backward causing motor death agony saddness and in general just piss off note the scoreing cylinder side. I could buy a brake honer and hone it for $17.00 but don't want to piss with this one lasted almost 7 hrs. sorry for picture screwups missloads this is not the port one I have nothing but problems I pay for from Asia so far my average is 16 junk products out 16 products that I purchas have been junk shanghai s**t that a big 100% junk record.
