I am deciding to get a 79cc predator 4 stroke engine. I was wondering what kind of problems i could expect to have with this engine and kit in general.

Getting your fingers stuck in the chains and having them ripped off is usually the worst you'll get.

You will want to disable the low oil sensor (at least it's been recommended) to keep you from having problems on steeper hills and such. Apparently they are pretty damn sturdy.

Having removed the governor in my 79cc Pred. I can safely say there is no low oil sensor. Maybe there is one in the 212's.
Also AGK sells high performance parts. The only necessary mod. is a throttle return, and can be purchased. Or you can for around $20 purchase a PZ19 Mikuni as I did on my Sportsman Flyer build.

Did you get the carb and the intake manifold from AGK?

No I didn't Cozmic, The PZ19 is a ebay item and as my current build is a Sportsman Flyer 80 with engine cylinder oriented vertical. No one I know but Pat Dolan makes a intake manifold for a Flyer set up. The exhaust I did myself.
Just a TIG welded flange and 2 1/2" stub tube. Clamped to the stub is the stainless steel flex exhaust tubing.

Well, you need a big enough bike for it, I used a 29" Micargi Fatal Love.

Then you need to make or buy a transfer case and make an exhaust pipe.

The Q-matic transfer case is over $250 but I had enough spare parts to make a pipe.

And then you have to convert the fixed throttle to make it a hand-grip throttle.
Not that hard, I have a nice topic about that build here with details about the throttle http://kcsbikes.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=639

I ended up changing the gas tank on my next 79cc build, that dinky 1/2 gallon didn't cut it so I put a 1.2 gallon Wizzer tank on it.

Good luck with your build!
