i will be buying a camera of my own soon so i can take some more pics of this setup when im done

its pretty odd but it does not slip when wet like metal drive friction drives :)

I like it. Based totally in function and utility. Fits into no "style" but creates it's own. A reliable workhorse. Not meant to win any beauty competitions but will get you there without breaking down.

I had a normal bicycle like this once, had so many bags and racks and places to store things it was crazy.

yep its definitly purpose built and that purpose was to eliminate short drives with my gas hog of a thunderbird (highly modified tbird turbocoupe)

and it does this well i have around 250 miles on the odometer already and have only broken one part on the bike and i didnt even notice it was broken until i made it home :) (just a 2 dollar clamp) time to fine better one's

If you build it it will run! love the size of that drive its got to go up hills great 8)

The drive wheel is a 10 inch tire with billet alu wheel 76 tooth rear sprocket size #25 chain 10 tooth front sprocket (the road gear since im in kansas) i have gotten it to 42mph on a long flat stretch the 6 tooth gear i have tops out around 25-30 but is much better on hills of course.

one of the advantages to this engine is on the flywheel it has the the cooling fans like a lawnmower to keep the engine cooler than just wind alone. :) but its only rated at 2.5 horse mines probably around 2.7 with my slightly opened up exhaust. since this is a goped engine i can get loads of aftermarket parts for it as well tuned pipes all that jazz but 160 for a pipe seems harsh im more of a fabricator so one of these days :)

i do however have a new project in the making im going to take one of these china motor kits (or maybe a small 4 stroke) and put it in a streched frame bananna seat bike from the 70's

i found the bike next to a creek (on my parents land) lonnnnnggg ago and went back to where it was and it was still there it has some rust but nothing too bad and no the frame isnt streched already thats what i have to do :)

it may be a long project this bike has the triple tubes on top for the frame one large tube where it should be across the top ,,,,,and 1 much smaller tube on each side of the frame about an inch away from it .

this is one of those ones that had dirtbike number plackards on them with the cool bent out forks and mega far back bananna seat but the frame is very short length i will need to stretch it at least a foot for me to ride comfortably :???:

Wow, you just gave me an idea for the 35cc Razor scooter thingy I don't really use.....

Thank you very much.

hey no problem this goped was wrecked i got it for 100 dollars but it ran great so i chopped the pos up and used its very nice engine and wheel :D

 42mph top speed and you were thinking about a tuned pipe...??!

I like the idea of the wood as well... how does it hold up to the vibration etc?
