I worked on it today until my back just wouldn't let me anymore. Hopefully I will get the other side on tomorrow.

The thumbnails are the same pics as above, I just gave the short description on the above links so you would know what's going on in the pic.

(I wish I had your skills)

what he said!!!

this step by step photo shoot rocks!

hmmmm....protective glasses, gloves, hair pulled back......looks like a safe worker to me! :D

can't wait to see what's next.

you really take your work seriously with these things i like that wanna gimme one???

Thanks guys! I still haven't decided for sure which way to go on the filler bung and cap. I'm sure it will come to me as the tank gets closer to being done. I have decided to cut off the motor mounts I made and change the design a little...that will be done when the tank is finished. If you guys are interested, I will post some pics of that too.

Minibiker,
Yes I do take my work seriously. Every bike that comes out of the iRide shop has every bit of my heart and soul poured into it. I eat, sleep, breathe, and live bikes. It could almost be concidered a mental disorder...LOL!

That's so cool and I wasn't the only one who noticed the safety steps. Ear plug too. He's going to be making works of art for a long time.

I have aquired the mental disorder too.

You make it look easy. That's a rare quality. How do you leak test it? I am trying to put two of the regular black tanks together for a double filler, & am concerned about leaks after paint. Your design looks like it's leak proof. Or you're not so worried. How do you do that?
By the way ditto on what they said! nice job!

Thanks Guys!

Well, the last tank I did for Brutus, I just filled it with rubbing alcohol. Luckily it had no leaks. When I finish this tank I will treat the inside with a gas tank sealer called Kreem. It puts a tank in a tank. It's a huge pain in the butt, but once you use it, you NEVER have to worry about rust or leaks. The stuff looks like Elmer's glue and you have to use some kind of acid to clean and etch the tank.
