l know l havent posted in awhile, but l have been busy with projects.
This is a west coast chopper bike turned trike. The trike rides real smooth and is heavy duty. l customized it a little and am going to put electric front hub motor. eventually......
Anyways, l just to wanted show you guys...............later ,,,,,thanx to Kronic for youe help:cool:

Its a lovely looking machine - Im a little concerned about power issues using an electric system (but then I am a complete and utter petrolhead lol). I guess it depends how far and how fast you want to go..

It *should* be possible to IC engine this bike, the easiest way being a front drive similar in plan to the velosolex idea - ideally something belt driven by GEBE or a chain type stanton (no I am not affiliated!).

My Hercules tricycle uses the same axle as that. I found that the drive pin on the sprocket always wants to wriggle its way out unless I put a safety wire through it.

Hi Annie,

Im slightly confused looking at that picture. I love the style of the bike btw.

on the second picture the power hub is on the one side but whats on the other side, it looks like some sort of gearing set up.. is it a part of the old bike or does it serve a purpose?

It's a Sachs Duomatic hub and coaster brake which is just the job for my tricycle. I really like the Duomatic two speed hub and I always keep an eye out for them at hard rubbish collection time.
