dude you got a cool bike . like the can , I have been trying to find one for my gas tank. Like the idea of not have the tank on the frame .My bike has a smaller frame to it and I think by putting the tank up on the bars like that would open my bike up some more.

thanks. you have to watch out though, just having the battery in there makes it pretty top heavy let alone filled with fuel. good luck though. post some pics.

lol maaaan, I did not know you had you battery in the can, I thought you had put your tools in there lol . What size battery you got in that can, is it just for your lights ? sorry if stupid question, still trying to figure this stuff all out

It's a 6v lantern flashlight battery. I got the empty paint can (1qt) and 6" hose clamps from home depot. The light is a cheap 5" tractor light from ebay, which I gutted and put the lens and bulb from the lantern flashlight in. Then I wired up and screwed in a toggle switch on the bottom. There used to be a bolt going through the bottom of the housing, removed that, and the switch fit in perfectly. Then, for the headlight mounts, I bought (4) 1"x6" "milford pipe hangers (also from homedepot) and bolted them to the side of the headlight housing and to the forks. they come copper-colored which would look awesome on the right bike, but I painted mine black... Well, there's how I made that headlight assembly... sorry for the rambling...

Not rambling . I find it to be very interesting, too see the creativity come out into the building of the bike. good job

Thanks. I'm getting ready to build a drop stand for the back out of aluminum. I'm going to try using the HTS-2000 aluminum "welding" sticks. We'll see how it turns out. I'll post pics of my progress...
