drop bars I like the looks of them this way, but not a comfortable riding stance.
8 holes filled If I had brazed them up, more paint would have been burned off.
badly compressed Whatever they used this hole for, they really cranked down the bolt. It took quite a bit of metal to fill that one.
upright bars They don't look as good this way, but more ergonomic, and it's still possible to get under the wind.

home made tensioners First I tapped longer threads on some 1/4" bolts. Then Cut off the heads, and ground flats to use to tighten them. I'll get som
extracting tensioner I cut a slit on the end, in order to rotate it. The I ground away the bent part in order to thread it down and out.
