Picture from a brochure of the original Zipcycle that was produced from 1993-2003. Friction-roller drive powered by Homelite String Trimmer engine.
My attempt at an early British look. Yard sale frame, Zipcycle engine (25 cc. Homelite String Trimmer engine, friction drive)
Really enjoying my first sidecar. I have since added a fender, and am working on a vintage-look body.
Since I used a BMW hubcap(small) for the gas tank cap, I have named this bike the Johann Deer
I even added the Jumping Deer to the ID plate.
Showing the right side minus the drive pulley cover, as normally ridden. The seat came from Nirve, I think.
