Hi Al I am interstellar in your clutch roller. Do you ship to canada? I wouldn't expect free shipping in this case. I'm in Vancouver BC.

      Thanks

Greetings Al, Thanks for your thread for Noobs. Found alot of useful info that only came from the School of Hard Knocks. I'm interested in one of your clutch reroute gizmos as well as a set of cylinder studs. The rest of the hardware I can obtain locally. By the way, I have a 68 (66?) cc skyhawk 2 stroke. Thanks again Sincerely, Jon (Ballentinesr@aol.com)

The head (where the spark plug screws into) comes off after removing the (4) acorn nuts on top of the head (the 10mm or 14mm nuts).

Doubt any effect from ram air will occur. Tips on these Chinese 2 cycle engines.

hey brother you seem to know your stuff so i come in serch of knowledge. i read about taking down the head on these things, i never took one apart. do u have to take apart the bottom end to get the head off or can i pull it off from the top since u recomend putting on from the bottom. also would ram air give me loss of power even with a expansion chamber. thanks again brother

The bearings that the vendors sell are Chinese as that's the cheapest anyone can buy, also supplied by the engine manufacturers. My bearings are made in the US. BUT, there are no bearing makers, that actually make the bearings with all US components. Timkin bearings for example, (a well known, quality bearing) falls into that category along with all others that I know of. These are, by the supplier's information, made in Japan. I did extensive research, to find this information. Now for the seals the "spring insert" which all should have. I put that there so you know that there is in fact a spring holding the inner part of the seal that rides against the shaft in place, I'm sure others do, but like you said they don't mention it. I want to describe my products the best I can as they are not in your hand for you're inspection..Now for the seal itself. They (clutch shaft) are a Chinese seal, they are made for specific products, and all those products are made in China. I purchased them from England, but they are still Chinese. No other company, other then a Chinese company makes those seals. If there was one, and I could find it. I'd have them. Now for the 15x35x7 (crankshaft) seal they are US made. Pistonbikes has a good bearing (German), better then the Chinese bearings. I can't say they are better then what I have, and I can't say mine is any better, but both are NOT Chinese. The difference is the cost to get them to you. From them (4) bearings @ $20.00 (2) seals @ $8.00 + $17.78 shipping, and I only see 1 seal..."Inner Engine Seal, Markings on seal 14.8 x 27 x 7.5"

      Thank you
      Ron

I was just checking out the parts you sell.. I am rebuilding my ht's bottom end currently and need some bearings and seals.

First, how is the quality of your bearings compared to other 160202/6202 bearings such as these- http://www.pistonbikes.com/product-p/epcc18.htm
Either way I'm sure there better than the **** Chinese ones come in our ht's

Second, well my question is the same as the first one, but about the seals.. Also can you elaborate on the "spring insert"? Your seals are the only ones Ive seen that said that..
      Thanks!

Ron, I was going to ask you if you read anything on mixing the Maxima Castor oil with Amsoil? I only use Amsoil Dominator, but what is difference between Dominator and Saber that Amsoil makes for 2/stroke?.............No matter what, we still need to remember where & how these motors are made!!!!??!!!!!~ (I just think that it will be interesting to see how long a person can get these creations to run at a decent tolerance??????????
