Also I noticed you still have the aluminum Block in between your carburetor and the intake. You get a little bit more crank pressure if you take it out in a little bit more power. It serves no purpose

Well it's obviously oil from the inside of the engine. Question is does it look like it's coming from where the case splits or is it coming from a base gasket leak?

Looks like base gasket maybe it's from the exhaust but the oil looks so clean and fresh

I'd say dry it up good with a rag. Then take her for a ride and hop off the bike every 5 mins and check it.

Ok I have 41 tooth and 27.5in wheels. Maybe I can squeeze 40mph out of it on the flats

So it's really good all the way up to 35 miles an hour and then the vibrations come back?

I'm fully expecting to get at least 7,500 RPM out of this motor. But what I really want to know is how smooth is this engine how well balanced is this crank compared to other engines like these motors?

Really smooth compared to my 66cc raw racer engines

Hey man! I too have the GT80. It's not installed yet I'm doing the bunch of internal modifications before I put it on my Schwinn Swindler. I'm guessing you have yours running from what I read on here? How smooth is it because they say it has a balanced crank? Right now I am redesigning the transfer ports with my Dremel. Were you able to find jets for the engine yet or carburetor rather?

It's a stage 1 balance I guess. Its way smoother then my 66cc raw racer and my build it yourself kit that turned out to be a 49cc, up to about 35mph then those vibs come right back
