In Nebraska a motorized bicycle is defined as a moped. A moped is any vehicle that:
- Is operated with either its 50cc or less motor OR by pedals (human power).
- Maximum 2bhp.
- Can not go faster than 30mph.
You do not need a license in Nebraska to ride a motorized bicycle as long as it fits within the definition of a moped above.
You don't have to title or register a motorized bicycle in Nebraska as long as the bicycle does not exceed the specifications above.
