Engine Trouble Putting but won't fire all the way

if you're running a headlight disconnect it, and make sure the white wire or the wire for the 6 volts isnt grounding out in the frame/block. i had this problem not 1 hour ago. I had the biggest headache over this ****. glad it's fixed now. good luck! (also, i had fuel spark and compression, just a weak spark as the cdi was shorting to the frame via the 6 volt cable and weakening the spark further under load.

Ok well I got the bike running a little bit. It's running enough now to where I put the choke half way an hold the clutch in an give it quarter throttle it will run. But as soon as I let go of the throttle or try to give it more it will die. But hey its actually running now. Does anyone have any advice on where do I go from here?
