I purchased two tiny replacement links for a #415 chain and they charged me $9.00 (more than three times the cost of the links) to ship them.
Rip off!

Update:

Wow! Not only are their shipping prices way too high, they banned me from ordering things from them for posting this on here.
Nice way to treat people. Good job Dacs!

I just ordered a 56 tooth sprocket. When I inquired as to when it will ship, I received a very fast reply. It had already shipped been shipped when I asked. Not 15 minutes later I received the FedEx tracking email. Very good customer service.
Thanks.
Jim

I like my Titan chain drive, its a good kit. Good service in shipping. I had a carb jet problem and Dax explained how to fix it. I have had the kit about 2 years now.

Dax is a great company to deal with. Before I bought my kit I looked at all the reviews here and even though there are other vendors that are really good I decided to go with ThatsDax. I liked their assembly instructions and their parts avaliability. I also liked the good reviews about Duane that I later found out to be absolutely true. I had to call on two or three problems (new guy dummy problems and not the kit) and he was always there or would call back and even one sunday when I called and asked him to call me back on monday he called back on that sunday instead. Ordered a Titan engine and gearbox about a week ago. Picked it up today. Very impressed with the quality. Shipping was also very good. Packing was excellent. USPS would have to drive over the box with a UPS truck to damage it. The two most impressive things are communications and customer service. Any time I sent an e mail I had an answer within a couple hours. I also forgot to order a sprocket with the gearbox. I called later to add it, and not only did it come in the same package, it was installed. Appreciate the service Duane.

I can't believe this poll has been up so long and I haven't put in my two cents.
Time to fix that.

I bought two 50cc happy times from dax in the spring of 2008. They're both still running strong. I've replaced, I think, two magnetos. No issues otherwise.

When I called Duane before ordering to ask the typical newbie questions he was friendly and informative. I placed the order with confindence.

I was only mildly dis-appointed with the shipping time. My belief was that he let orders fill up for two weeks, then shipped them all at once. There's nothing wrong with that. I get the feeling that he's shipping more frequently than that now, so maybe that disadvantage is over with.

When it's time to buy another engine there is only one reason that I might not order from dax: there are a few other vendors here who seem to have good reputations and, maybe, deserve a try from me. But I'll likely buy it from dax.

I bought the Titan 4 stroke a little over a month ago for a FD setup and this engine is as advertised. The customer service was outstanding too.

Default TOP notch everything

First class gentleman running a solid first class company!

Duane answers or returns all calls very quickly, and goes out of his way to help you in any way he can!

The Titan is a rock solid engine, and the support is as well!

No doubt I will continue and further buy from Duane for many years to come...

Default Yes, Duane is the best

Had a motor problem originally, which is unusual for the Titan motor (Hua Sheng or whatever), he replaced it.

Then after extensive use (and I probably had the jackshaft a bit out of alignment) I wore out the jack shaft bearings in my rear mount Titan - he replaced them "under warranty" which he really didn't have to do and they got to me in 3 days.

LOVE my Titan rear mount, have going on 2000 miles on the setup.

Thanks Duane !
